Our expert panels sit at the heart of the British Brands Group’s work, bringing together member expertise to shape thinking and drive action across key priority areas: eCommerce, Legal, Brand Leaders, Public Affairs and Extended Producer Responsibility.
Each panel is led by chairs or co-chairs drawn from our member companies, ensuring our activity is grounded in real-world experience and the challenges facing brands today. They play a vital role in setting priorities, guiding discussion and leading the development of our policy and capability work in their respective fields.
Their work is further strengthened by the support of a group of expert advisers—former industry leaders from member companies—whose insight and experience help ensure our panel activity remains sharp, relevant and impactful.
The Council is the governing body of the British Brands Group, comprising thirteen directors elected from the wider membership. Representing businesses of all sizes across the branded FMCG sector, Council members bring a breadth of commercial experience and insight from across the industry.
They are united by a shared commitment to the brand business model and a common goal: making the UK the best possible environment for brands to invest, innovate and grow. The Council sets the strategic direction of the Group and ensures its work reflects the priorities of members.
Its discussions are further strengthened by the input of independent strategic and legal advisers, who attend all meetings to provide expert guidance and challenge.
